FAQ - Anti Interdiction Service

FAQ

Anti Interdiction Service

What is the Anti-Interdiction Service?
Our Anti-Interdiction Service helps you detect any interference during shipping and confirm your system arrives exactly as it left us.
It acts as both a verification process and a visible deterrent, making any tampering immediately identifiable.
Two levels are available: Enhanced and Maximum.

Isn’t every order sealed already?
Yes. All products are shipped with a standard tamper-evident seal on the outer packaging.
This seal is included as part of our normal shipping process and provides a basic indication that the box has not been opened.
The paid Anti-Interdiction tiers go further, adding serialised seals, verification photos, and physical varnish markings.

Which products can I add it to?
The Anti-Interdiction Service is currently available for laptops and can be selected during checkout.

What happens if a seal arrives broken?
If a seal appears broken or damaged, please take clear photos of:

  • The outer packaging and seal
  • The system itself, showing any internal seals or varnish marks
  • Any courier or customs stickers
  • The serial number

Send these to our support team. We will compare them with your pre-dispatch verification pack to confirm whether the system was opened or inspected.
If the outer packaging seal is broken but the internal system seal remains intact, it may have been opened for inspection during shipping.
This is normal and does not indicate tampering. The internal seal provides the real verification that your system has not been accessed.

What if the package was opened by customs?
Customs authorities may open shipments for inspection.
If official customs tape or labels are present, this is classed as a routine inspection, not tampering.
Once you share photos, we will confirm that the system itself matches our records and remains uncompromised.
If the package appears to have been opened without any customs markings, please let us know so we can investigate with the courier and customs.

What if the system doesn’t match the verification photos?
If the serial numbers, seals, or markings do not match our records, we will log it as a possible interdiction.
We will arrange a return and replacement and open a courier or customs investigation to determine what occurred.

Is the Anti-Interdiction Service refundable?
As this is a custom verification service carried out before dispatch, it is non-refundable once completed.
This applies to all Anti-Interdiction tiers (Enhanced and Maximum), as the verification process and materials are prepared specifically for your order.

How can I confirm my system is authentic?
Compare the verification photos we sent before dispatch with your system on arrival.
Check the serial numbers, seal placement, and any unique varnish marks.
If everything matches, your system has arrived verified and uncompromised.

How do I remove the tamper-evident varnish?
The tamper-evident varnish can be removed using a non-acetone nail varnish remover and a soft cloth.
Apply a small amount to the cloth and gently wipe the area until the varnish clears.
Avoid using acetone, as it may damage the aluminium surface.
